Hannah Pinney-Thomson

Hannah has always had a love of music - first being inspired by her Primary School Teacher, Soprano 1 Jane Hill - and now enjoys a career immersed in the choral sector.
Hannah’s primary role is working with Owain Park (soon to be Chief Conductor of the BBC Singers) and his ensemble, The Gesualdo Six, supporting on all aspects of their busy concert schedule. Alongside this, Hannah is a Principal Lay Clerk at Rochester Cathedral, a team of 6 professionals singing in weekly services, with repertoire ranging from Byrd to McDowall. She also works on a freelance basis in concert production for Vox Anima London and Concert Theatre Works, and volunteers with Stour Music Festival. Hannah also plays the flute and piano, and is currently studying voice with mezzo-soprano Aurore Lacabe.
Outside of music, you’ll likely find Hannah bouldering, at Parkrun, getting lost in a book, or tracking down the nearest gelato shop!
